iheic.com provides free, browser-based image conversion and processing tools. All file processing occurs locally on your device using WebAssembly technology. No files are uploaded to our servers.

Use of the Service

You may use iheic.com for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these terms. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our WebAssembly modules beyond what is permitted by applicable open-source licenses
  • Use automated systems to overload our servers or CDN
  • Misrepresent the Service as your own product

Intellectual Property

  • The iheic.com website, design, and original code are our intellectual property.
  • Open-source libraries used in the Service (such as libheif, jsPDF, etc.) are subject to their respective licenses. See our Licenses page for details.
  • Your files remain yours. We claim no rights over any files you process using our tools.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Conversion results will be perfectly accurate
  • The Service will be compatible with all browsers or devices

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iheic.com and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the Service
  • Loss of data during conversion (always keep original copies of important files)
  • Any errors or inaccuracies in conversion output

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In summary: your files are processed locally and never uploaded to our servers.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
